Recipe Book out now

What a whirlwind summer it has been! I've been incredibly busy with tourists flocking to experience my unique culinary creations. They were so impressed that they suggested I either relocate to their city or publish a recipe book so they could recreate the magic themselves. It's an idea I've entertained before, but I know it won't be a walk in the park. Writing even just one recipe has taught me that it takes time and dedication.

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to collaborate with the esteemed Ghillie Basan on her latest book, "Seafood Journey: Tastes and Tales from Scotland." Ghillie Basan, a renowned culinary author with over 50 books to her name, has even been recognized with the prestigious Gourmand International Cookbook Award in 2021. Her previous work, "A Taste of the Highlands," was also shortlisted for the Guild of Food Writers Award in 2022. When Ghillie approached me to contribute a recipe to her new book, I eagerly accepted.

The recipe I shared holds a special place in my heart - it's my mother's fish cake recipe. As a child, my sisters and I would eagerly await this delectable snack, often fighting over the limited portions. After all, with five of us, it's no wonder there was never enough to go around. If you're interested in getting your hands on this cherished recipe, along with a delightful array of other seafood delights, or if you're looking for the perfect Christmas gift, I highly recommend checking out "Seafood Journey" at https://birlinn.co.uk/product/seafood-journey/.

Trust me, this book is a treasure trove of culinary inspiration that you won't want to miss out on.
